Sterling silver and sea glass, jellyfish pendant. Handmade with recycled sterling silver and sea glass found on the shores of Torbay.
This particular necklace comes on a sterling silver 18 inch necklace with a silver clasp.
I hand draw these little creatures, then I use a very fine saw to pierce out the silver from the back of the pendant. I love making these, as it gives you 2 ways of wearing it. You can have the seaglass with the silhouette of the jellyfish shining through, or you can wear it the other way round with the silver cut out taking centre stage. The choice is yours.
Jellyfish get a lot of bad press, but I think they are beautiful A particular favourite of mine is the moon jelly. It shimmers with an iridescent twinkle under the water and is completely harmless! I often see them whilst swimming in gorgeous Torbay.
