Pirate's Treasure Statement Ring- Adjustable R-T size
Black Tide Collection
Pirate's Treasure Statement Ring
Some treasures aren't found in chests—they're discovered amongst the tides. This one-of-a-kind statement ring is inspired by tales of forgotten shipwrecks, hidden coves and the treasures the sea chooses to return. At its heart sits a rare piece of sunshine yellow sea glass, hand beachcombed from the shores of Torbay and carefully set in a handcrafted fine silver bezel. Framed by hand-applied silver granulation, the sea glass glows like a golden coin recovered from the ocean floor.
The wide 10mm sterling silver band has been oxidised and hand polished to create a beautifully timeworn finish, giving the ring the appearance of an ancient relic that has spent decades beneath the waves. Hidden amongst the design are two hand-pierced symbols of the sea—a graceful mermaid on one side and a delicate seahorse on the other—small details waiting to be discovered by the wearer. Size R-T as it has an open back
Handcrafted from recycled sterling silver using traditional silversmithing techniques, no two rings will ever be the same.
Did you know? Yellow sea glass is one of the rarest colours found on UK beaches, making up less than 2% of all sea glass discoveries. Many pieces began life as decorative glass or speciality bottles before spending decades being transformed by the sea into smooth, frosted treasures.
Every piece of sea glass I use is personally collected from the beaches of Torbay. Each tells its own story, shaped by tides, time and nature. If you have your own treasured piece of sea glass, I'd be delighted to create a bespoke piece of jewellery just for you.
