Enamel Rockpool Drop Earrings
One-of-a-kind silver earrings inspired by the colour, movement and miniature habitats found within South Devon’s rockpools.
Each slender form is constructed by hand from recycled silver sheet and wire. Layers of blue and green enamel are applied and fired by hand, creating individual pools of colour that can never be replicated exactly.
Tiny handmade silver and copper details evoke barnacles, seaweed and marine life, while a flush-set teal cubic zirconia captures the sparkle of sunlight on the water. The oxidised silver creates depth and contrasts beautifully with the vibrant enamel.
Approximate dimensions: 27mm high × 6mm wide.
Teal cubic zirconia: 3mm.
Handmade in my Devon studio using traditional silversmithing, stone-setting and enamelling techniques. These earrings are intentionally mismatched and completely unique.
