Inspired by the hidden worlds revealed at low tide, these handcrafted stud earrings capture the colours and textures of Torbay's beautiful rockpools.
Each earring begins as a disc of fine silver, individually hand textured before being decorated with tiny handcrafted silver barnacles and a delicate hand-pierced copper starfish. Layers of hand-torched vitreous enamel are then carefully applied, blending beautiful blues and greens to recreate the crystal-clear pools, seaweed and shimmering water found along the South Devon coastline.
No two earrings can ever be identical. The enamel naturally flows during firing, creating unique patterns that make every pair completely one of a kind.
Handmade using traditional silversmithing and enamelling techniques, these earrings are a tiny wearable celebration of the coast.
Did you know? A single rockpool is its own miniature ecosystem. Even after the tide goes out, these tiny pools provide a safe home for creatures including barnacles, beadlet anemones, blennies, crabs, limpets and starfish until the sea returns.
